May 2020 be YOUR YEAR!

Hello! How are you?

The new year has started, and for so many people, it is the perfect time to reflect on how was their past year and setting goals for the brand new one.

Here comes my personal reflection on what feeds me from the inside out and what I would like to share with you today:

  • Continue taking responsibility for guiding the course of my life and health. If I’m not well, I can’t live to the full and give my best to those I love.
  • Make a conscious effort to exercise gratitude for the good things (even the smallest ones!) that happen in my daily life.
  • Visualize possibilities for victory and stop thinking about what “can go wrong.” Our mind is much more powerful than we think.
  • “Avoid complaining.” When we complain about something, our brain re-processes the entire reason for our stress as if we were experiencing it again. Physiologically, our body suffers from it.
  • Consciously stop to set my goals for the new year and prioritize the use of my time. This is no waste of time, quite the opposite.
  • Never stop to Invest in my “whole health” (body and mind). The cost to care for my health (while I have it) is infinitely lower than treating already established illnesses.
  • Stop trying to please everyone around me. This is impossible and depends more on how others are feeling at any given moment than actually what I do.
  • Have fun and be with my “tribe of friends” as much as possible. Those who share what’s really important from my perspective.
  • Laugh more. Laughing and genuinely enjoying moments of joy trigger a range of wellness mechanisms in our body, as well as helping to improve our immunity.

My sincere wish for you is that you slow down and take time to reflect on what feeds your soul and makes you more energized from the inside out.

When this is clear to you, everything else will become simpler to organize and prioritize.

May 2020 be YOUR YEAR, the year in which YOU decide what is really important in your life and could take concrete actions to change was is needed, and it is within your reach.

Remember that “DONE IS BETTER THAN PERFECT” and, at the end of the day, the most important thing is to feel that you are moving in the right direction, at your pace but always in the right direction.
